In a recent episode of What The Morgs?, host Britt Girvan sits down with microbiologist and longtime Morgellons researcher Marianne Middelveen for an important conversation about the scientific research surrounding Morgellons disease.

The Charles E. Holman Morgellons Disease Foundation continues its collaboration with anthropologist Chris Daley and students at Lehigh University on the Morgellons Lived Experience Project, a book based on nearly 100 interviews with patients, families, clinicians, and researchers.

We’re excited to share that Ginger Savely, DNP, will be presenting on the topic of Morgellons disease at an upcoming medical conference this November in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

We remain just as dedicated as ever to Morgellons research, recognition, and education. Although the past few years have brought challenges — from the pandemic to health and family losses among our board — our daily work has continued. Patients continue reaching out for guidance, and several important projects have been unfolding behind the scenes.

While this is an occasional annoyance at best for most people, forgetfulness is an everyday struggle for Morgellons patients. Patients frequently complain about being unable to concentrate on simple tasks or remember important details to the extent that their job performance and home life are severely impacted.
